Boston Beer Hall Positions
Harpoon Beer Hall Employees are an essential component of the visitor’s experience at the Harpoon Brewery Beer Hall and must be able to provide superb customer service, an enthusiastic narrative of the Harpoon Brewery, and be literate in beer and brewing knowledge. All listed positions are Part Time.
Open Positions Include:
- TOURS: lead tours of the brewery and a tasting of Harpoon beer
- BAR: perform all aspects of beer beverage service
- FLOOR: perform all aspects of table service
- RETAIL: stocking, cashier, and operation of high speed growler filling station
Perform numerous operational tasks in all areas of the Beer Hall to ensure outstanding visitor experience
Create, prep and cook our famous beer pretzels from scratch on a daily basis
- Greeting guests
- Ensure safety of guests and facility
- Customer service: provide accurate answers to numerous visitor questions
The candidate must be a mature, team player who has a genuine enthusiasm for people, the Harpoon Brewery, and craft beer. Personal integrity, people skills, and professionalism are a prerequisite.
The Beer Hall Employees’ people skills, inherent enthusiasm, and the ability to make each visitor feel special is an essential factor in day to day operation. They are our front line of representing a leading craft beer brand, and standards of job performance and professionalism are set accordingly. These positions report to the Beer Hall General Manager and department managers.
Employees may be eligible to work additional hours at periodic Harpoon festivals and promotional programs
Dependability, enthusiasm, cheerful and professional demeanor, a willingness to learn, a demonstrated interest in Harpoon beer. A background in the retail or bar/restaurant industry is preferred. Must be 21 plus.
