Being a Good Neighbor Never Tasted So Good!
By: Julia Falk, Digital Marketing Published:
We hosted a Harpoon Helps Grateful Harvest beer dinner this year for two reasons; we wanted to be a good neighbor and we wanted to enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family to celebrate all that we’re thankful for. What resulted was 180 stuffed-to-the-brim guests and over $12,000 raised for the Greater Boston Food Bank!
We composed a menu chock full of family favorite dishes from Harpooners in various departments throughout the brewery and Didier Baugniet, owner and chef of Scutra, perfectly executed the recipes. Chris Hart, award-winning barbecue chef, and his team from the New England Barbecue Society smoked turkeys infused with Grateful Harvest at the brewery on his mammoth professional smoker. Harpoon employees volunteered their time to set up, serve, and clean up the feast. We stuffed our faces and made new friends while toe tapping bluegrass tunes by the Goodtime String band played in the background.
We are incredibly thankful to all of the guests who joined us for this special night. Our Grateful Harvest dinner couldn’t have been possible without you and the generous support of our sponsors:

As you start to plan your own Thanksgiving meal, consider bringing a taste of Harpoon into your menu. Click here for a PDF version of the recipes from the night! And don’t forget; we donate $1 per Grateful Harvest six-pack to the local food bank in the area in which it was purchased. Use our Beer Finder to learn where to buy this beer in a location near you, pick up a 6-pack, and we’ll help support your local food bank this holiday season!
Ending hunger in our community is no easy task, but together we can be good neighbors - one craft beer at a time!
