2007 Harpoon Point to Point

Type :Community

On Saturday, August 11, 2007, Harpoon hosted the 6th Annual Harpoon Point to Point to benefit the Vermont Foodbank. With the help of our many sponsors, the riders, and family and friends who enjoyed the post-ride party at our Windsor brewery, the Vermont Foodbank has raised a record amount of money from this one-day Harpoon Helps mission. Harpoon would like to thank all of the Friends of Harpoon who rode or the Harpoon Helpers volunteered as course marshals.

2007 - A Record Year

Congratulations to our 2007 riders!   Another record breaking year for us, 180 cyclists participated in the Harpoon Point to Point

Between the concert and the fundraising efforts by our riders, we were able to donate $34,774 to the Vermont Foodbank!  Thank you to our sponsors and everyone who contributed to this event!

Of course, we are already looking forward to next year's Point to Point, so you better hop on your bike and start training! Just because the Harpoon Point to Point has passed, it doesn't mean that the work is done. We still need your help to fight hunger in Vermont. You can help!
