2008 Harpoon 5 Miler to benefit the Angel Fund

Registration Opens: April 1, 2008

The 2008 Harpoon 5-Miler takes off from the Harpoon Brewery on the South Boston waterfront on Saturday, June 7th. 1,500 runners and 200 volunteers will join Harpoon and the Angel Fund in the fight against ALS.

WHO SHOULD RUN

People who “Love Beer. Love Life!” Runners of all levels who wish to support an important cause, enjoy a beautiful race course, and celebrate the occasion with a post race festival at the Brewery. You must be 21 years or older to run.

To date the Harpoon 5-Miler has raised over $144,000 toward research at the Day Laboratories at Mass General Hospital. Last year, the race sold out in 2 months! Sign up early to secure your bib number!

2007 - A Record Year

Congratulations to our 2007 competitors!   

In what was the hottest running of the Harpoon 5-Miler, over 1,400 runners joined us in our most successful race yet.  Congratulations to all of the finishers and thank you to all of our sponsors!  This year’s check to the Angel Fund was $46,854.71!   That brings our total contribution in the fight against ALS to $144,000.  We are dedicated to this cause and to the Harpoon 5-Miler.  We hope you can join us in 2008!
