WE NEED GIFTS!! No, not for us. They’re for the men, women, and kids at the shelters we’re decorating for the 7th Annual Harpoon Helps Spread Holiday Cheer. We thought it’d be great to be able to leave a little something extra for the folks that could use it the most during this season. We are asking our decorators to bring gift cards with them when they go decorate (check out the schedule here). Your Team Leader will collect them from you, and they will be given to those staying at the location you decorate. We are hoping you will be able to contribute $10 gift cards to various stores like Target, Stop & Shop, Dunkin Donuts and Wal-Mart. These gift cards will enable parents in the family shelters to go out and purchase gifts for their kids – so they are able to give something that they choose. Your Team Leader will collect the gift cards from you on decorating day and will give them to the shelter. There are a lot of people out there that you could use a little pick-me-up, especially around this time of year. We’re asking Friends of Harpoon to help us make it happen. HOW TO MAKE A DONATION To make a donation, please bring any number of gift cards you are able to contribute with you when you come to decorate.
