HARPOON 5:30 CLUB - GROUP TASTINGS

GENERAL INFORMATION

The 5:30 Club is group Tasting at the Harpoon Brewery in Boston. The 5:30 CLUB takes place in our Tasting Room and includes in-depth information about Harpoon and the great beers we brew. This information is narrated by our knowledgeable staff and includes complimentary samples of our delicious beer. The Tasting lasts 1 1/2 hours and includes access to the Brewhouse Platform. Because of our on-going production schedule, we are unable to conduct guided tours of the brewery. Please note that guided tours through the brewery are available during weekends when the brewery is not in production.

The room fee for the 5:30 Club is based on group size. Since the room capacity can accommodate up to 80 people, we may schedule more than one group in the evening. Also, the tasting room is often used by our employees, therefore you may see Harpoon employees and their guests during your Tasting.

Small group (15-30 people): $100 room fee, group may be sharing the space with one or more other small groups
Large group (31 – 60 people): $150 room fee, group may be sharing the space with one or more smaller groups

SCHEDULE:

The Harpoon 5:30 Club takes place Monday through Friday evenings from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. We begin serving samples to 5:30 Club guests at 5:30 PM. Last call is at 6:45 PM.

MAKING A RESERVATION:

To make a reservations, click on the Terms and Condition link below. Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully and, if you agree to them, use the contact information to make a reservation. You must have a MasterCard or Visa credit card when making the reservation. You credit card will be charged at the time of the reservations. Full refund cancellations are offered prior to 1 week before the scheduled 5:30 Club. Due to the popularity of the Harpoon 5:30 CLUB, it is recommended that you have several dates in mind when making the reservation since your first choices may not be available. Thursday nights are the most popular and therefore need the most lead time for booking.

Q: Can I arrange to have food at the 5:30 Club?

A: Yes. Information of local caterers can be provided upon request . Any and all arrangements for food must be made the by Group booking the 5:30 Club and are not the responsibility of Harpoon.

Q: Is the 5:30 Club family friendly?

A: The 5:30 Club is for beer lovers, and all attendees must be 21 years or older.

Q: Are there beverages available beside beer (ie wine, soft drinks, water)?

A: Only beer and water are served by Harpoon. You may bring other non-alcoholic beverages, if you wish.

Q: What happens if I arrive early?

A: You are welcome to come into the Tasting Room. We have a Public Tasting that ends at 5:00 pm, and are generally busy serving customers until approximately 5:20 pm. We will begin serving samples at 5:30.

Q: Can I buy beer at the brewery like a typical bar?

A: We do not have typical “bar license” so you cannot purchase beer at the bar. All guests have plenty of opportunities to enjoy samples for our broad selection of Harpoon beer styles and beer is available to purchase and take home.

PARKING:

We have parking on the “West Side” of our brewery. The “West Side” of the brewery is the side which faces downtown Boston. Park along the building in the spots labeled “Visitor Parking”. You will then need to walk around the front of the building along Northern Avenue to access the Visitor Entrance on the East Side of the Brewery.
