Question of the Month for APRIL 2007 Q: Jan, a Friend from Apex, NC asks, “Could you tell me how many calories are in a Harpoon IPA?"
A: Great question. There are 165 to 175 calories in a 12 oz. bottle of Harpoon IPA. The other question we frequently are asked is "how many carbs?" Well, there are between 14.5 and 16.5 grams of carbs in that same bottle of IPA. You may be wondering why there is a variation. The variability is due to seasonal and crop year variability in malted barley characteristics. Thanks for a great question. Hope you enjoy your next Harpoon IPA!
