Transfers I have registered for the 2008 B2B, but cannot ride. Can I get a refund? No, your ride fee is nonrefundable. But it will go to a good cause - Can I transfer my spot? Yes. The deadline for transfers in May 15, 2008. No exceptions. Harpoon does not maintain a waitlist or transfer list. It is the responsibility of the registered rider to find a cyclist to transfer the spot. A transfer registration form must be completed by the new rider. The completed form must be returned to Harpoon via mail, fax or email by May 15, 2008. Riders can change pelotons on ride day. There is no need to notify the ride director beforehand. More info on pelotons Transportation How will my gear bag get to the Harpoon Brewery in Windsor? Please leave your bag at the marked bag drop area on ride day morning. It will be waiting for you in Windsor when you arrive. How will I get myself and bike from Windsor to Boston at the end of the ride? Transportation by coach for gear and rider is included in the ride. Bikes will be carefully packed in bike trucks and transported back to Boston. They will be waiting for you when you arrive on the coach in Boston at the end of the day. Riders who do not choose to take the included transportation are responsible for their own bikes. Jersey and bib pick up Can I pick up my packet before ride day? Pre-ride jersey and bib pick up will be at the Brewery at 306 Northern Ave in Boston on Friday, June 13 from 5 to 7pm. I'm a different size than I thought I would be. Can I change my jersey size? No. We order a jersey just for you based on the size you chose on the registration form. We do not buy in bulk, and only B2B riders get a B2B jersey. We do not have extra sizes to switch jerseys. Support What can I expect at the water stops? At the rest stops we will provide water, energy drink, energy bars, peanuts, cookies, pickles, and fruit. Mechanical? Professional bike mechanics will be on course and stationed at start. Riders must be bike savvy and prepared to fix their own flats and basic bike problems. Parking There is ample parking available at the parking garage right across the street from the Brewery in South Boston. Parking for the day will be $15 for the day. Please bring cash as they do not accept credit cards. |
