I don't have a credit card. Can I send a check and a paper registration form? Sorry, but we've gone completely digital and the only way to register is on our website. Can I register a team? At this point, we are not offering team registration. Is there a way to make an additional donation to the Angel Fund? You bet! We've set up a donation page so that you can help us raise even more money to fight ALS. Heck, if you are feeling really ambitious, ask your friends and family to chip in too!
Can I run with my dog? Are baby strollers/joggers allowed? The Harpoon 5-Miler to Benefit the Angel Fund is US Track and Field sanctioned so we have to play by their rules. That means you'll have to brave the 5 miles solo, no furry friends or little ones. Is there a minimum time I have to be able to run to participate? The race is open to all levels, however, keep in mind that we begin to break down the race course around 11 AM, so plan on bringing your own water to get you through the last mile if walking. And the post-race party wraps up at 1pm. What should I bring with me on race day? Please bring a photo ID. All runners must be over 21. After you have checked in (if you haven't already picked up your number and chip before race day) and before the race you will need to go to the Wristband/ID Station inside the main tent to get a wristband for the post-race party. If you do not have a wristband, you will not be served. Wristband+ticket = Beer. How do I get my beer tickets on race day? After you finish the race, drop off your ChampionChip to one of the many volunteers at the finish, they will give you two beer tickets. If you bought additional beer tickets when you registered, your tickets will be in your race packet with your bib #. Remember - Wristband+ticket = Beer. Where can I leave my bag during the race? We will provide a bag corral area that will be monitored by a volunteer. It's a good place to store a small bag with a fresh t-shirt, but don't leave your valuables. Can my non-running friend/family member hang out at the post-race party with me? Yes, your supporters can join you at the post-race party. Beer and food tickets will be available for purchase. Does my race fee include admission into Harpoon Summer Session? Your race fee includes food and two beers at the post party but you'll have to pay at the door when we open at 4 pm for Harpoon Summer Session. Can I pick up my bib and chip before the race? Yes, pre-race pick up will be at City Sports at 480 Boylston St in Boston on Wednesday, June 4th from 11 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm. You must bring a photo ID to pick up your race packet. Can I pick up my friend's packet too? Yes, you must bring a photocopy of their ID to pick up. No ID, no packet.
Is Parking Available? Because of the race and Harpoon Summer Session, there is NO parking available at the Brewery on June 7. There is parking for a $15 fee at the garage located directly across the street from the brewery. We highly recommend that you take public transportation to the brewery.
