ABOUT THE EVENT

On two Saturdays, December 3rd and 10th, 2011, we will be sending Harpoon Helpers to various locations throughout Boston (shelters, soup kitchens, play spaces, etc.) and this year, we will also be helping spread holiday cheer in cities all over New England and in select cities across the country.

We need your help to spread good tidings to those who need it most in your area. You can signup to be a Harpoon Helper on this very special day and brighten up the holidays for many others.

This year, we will again be decorating in:

• Massachusetts (Boston, Springfield, Worcester)
• New Hampshire & Vermont (Claremont, Lebanon, Manchester)
• Maine (Portland)
• Rhode Island (Providence)
• Connecticut (Hartford)
• New York (Albany, Waterford)
• Pennsylvania (Philadelphia)
• Maryland (Baltimore)
• Washington, DC
• Texas (Austin)

Harpoon Helps has located some places that could really use some holiday festiveness. In 2010, over 600 people volunteered for Spread Holiday Cheer at 40 locations. This is highlighted by more than 450 volunteers decorating 27 locations in Boston alone.
