HDC Sales Assistant (Boston)

OVERVIEW

Assist Harpoon Distribution Company (HDC) sales team in daily function of distribution while learning about Harpoon & beer industry.

QUALIFICATIONS
Entry-level position for college graduates with one year of professional experience.   Candidates must live in the area and have a reliable car.

REQUIREMENTS

45-50+ hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Evening and weekend work required. Ability to deliver kegs.

JOB DUTIES 

• Direct Sales:  Work with sales team calling on Boston area package stores & bars.
• Merchandising: Produce and set-up merchandising material in Boston area package stores & bars. Maintain HDC merchandising material.

• Delivery:  Emergency delivery of cases and kegs to Boston area package store & bars.

• Draft Work: Repair and clean draft lines at Boston area bars. Maintain HDC draft tools & equipment.
• Accounts Receivable: Assist HDC sales people in the collection of checks from Boston area package stores & bars.
• Promotions: Conduct afternoon, evening and weekend promotions at Boston area package stores & bars.
