Harpoon Helps Mission: Manchester, NH

Type :Harpoon Helps

Four Helpers help sort nearly 4,000 pounds of food to be distributed around New Hampshire!

In 2006 it was estimated that over 95,000 New Hampshire residents were suffering from hunger. Thankfully there are places like the New Hampshire Food Bank that helps distribute food to help fight hunger in your state – 4 million pounds of food to be exact!  They can’t do it alone, so we thought we’d help.  We need you to help too.  So join us on Tuesday, April 10th from 5:30pm to 8pm at New Hampshire Food Bank for a Harpoon Helps mission in Manchester. We will be helping the folks there sort and repack donations for distribution. After the mission, we will head out to a local watering hole to enjoy a pint of Harpoon!

A program of New Hampshire Catholic Charities the New Hampshire Food Bank serves as the only food bank in the state.  Each year the Food Bank distributes over 4 million pounds of donated, surplus food to nearly 350 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, day care centers, senior citizen homes and substance abuse treatment centers. These member agencies in turn provide the food to the over 95,000 hungry men, women and children throughout New Hampshire

New Hampshire Food Bank is located at 62 West Brook Street in Manchester.
