THE BACKPACK

A backpack containing enough food for a family of four for a single day will travel among riders from start to finish.

This backpack will be transferred from rider to rider at certain stages of the course so that multiple cyclists get a chance to carry it throughout the trek.

A collaborative effort by the Vermont Foodbank, the Harpoon Brewery, and The Point Radio Network, this ride was established to raise awareness and funds for the Vermont Foodbank and its efforts to end hunger in Vermont.
