A festival of beer, German music, and Fall at the Harpoon Brewery in Vermont Sunday features a Road Race that starts and ends at the annual Octoberfest A wide selection of fresh Harpoon beer including UFO Hefeweizen and IPA. Plenty of delicious German style food sold by a local vendor The best Chicken Dancing this side of the Alps and the famous keg bowling game Featuring an outdoor Bavarian style “Beer Garden” Free Brewery tours given by the Harpoon brewers all weekend long

At the Harpoon Brewery, 336 Ruth Carney Drive, Windsor, VT (off Route 5) Just minutes off Interstate 91, Exit 9 in Windsor, VT About 10 miles south of the intersection of Interstate 89 and 91. Free public parking available in the fields surrounding the Brewery
Schedule: same each day on the stage - 12 pm: Doors open, live music from Jolly Kopperschmidts throughout the afternoon
- 2 pm: Chicken Dancing Contest
- 3 pm: German Cake-eating Contest (kids first, adults right after)
- 4 pm: Chicken Dancing Contest
- 5 pm: German Cake-eating Contest (kids first, adults right after)
- 5:30 pm: last beer poured
- 6 pm: end of event
Door charge is $10.00 per person. This admission fee includes a Harpoon beer ticket. It does not include food. Designated Drivers: Remember to plan ahead and figure out how you will be getting home. Harpoon supports a Designated Driver program at each Festival. All designated drivers should visit the Customer Service booth when they arrive at the Festival where they will receive complimentary non-alcoholic beverages. |
