Upon receiving the first permit to be issued in twenty five years by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to brew and package beer commercially (we hold Permit No. 1), the Harpoon Brewery began brewing at 306 Northern Avenue, Boston. We are still at the same location, having changed and expanded considerably since 1987. Please come and visit the brewery. | In the Summer of 2000, we purchased the Catamount Brewery in Windsor, Vermont. This opportunity arose at a time when we were operating at capacity in Boston and looking for ways to meet the growing demand for our beer. We are brewing both Harpoon beer and Vermont Draft Soda in Windsor. We hope you will come for a tour of this brewery, located by the banks of the Connecticut River. |
