Two Friends Win A Visit From the Thank You Tour RV

Last month, we invited Friends of Harpoon to tell us why they should receive a visit from the Thank You Tour RV. We'd like to thank everyone who took the time to write in with their entries. We certainly enjoyed reading them. 

We are proud to announce that we have selected two winners! Each will have the Thank You Tour RV come to their house, tap room and all, for a cookout (and fresh Harpoon, of course) for themselves and 20 of their closest friends.  No lie!  We’ll being the beer, grill, food, and RV. Hopefully, you are a friend of these Friends!

And the winners are:

Kristen S. of Waltham and Jeff G. of Ashland.

Jeff told us about meeting and chatting with the enthusiastic new Harpoon brewers shortly after moving to Boston back in 1987 over samples.

Kristen took time to compose a verse, an ode to Harpoon. Here it is.

We used to drive north for BBQ,

Ran Castle Island, drank lots of brew.

Hefeweizen, IPA, our favorites for years;

So many fun events with Harpoon beers.

Then last year we turned 35,

Had a great baby, and our outings took a dive.

Our neighborhood parties got more subdued;

And they started to focus more on FOOD.

HELP US! Harpoon, to get back on our game,

And show our friends we’re not so lame.

One last thing – coming here would ensure

That we won’t bring our TODDLER on the brewery tour!
