Upon receiving the first permit to be issued in twenty five years by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to brew and package beer commercially (we hold Permit No. 1), the Harpoon Brewery began brewing at 306 Northern Avenue, Boston. We are still at the same location, having changed and expanded considerably since 1987. Please come and visit the brewery. | In the Summer of 2000, we purchased the Catamount Brewery in Windsor, Vermont in order to meet the growing demand for Harpoon beer. The brewery features a Production Viewing Area where you can check out the Brewhouse "up close" and learn about Harpoon. Take a guided tour of the brewery on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. The recently renovated Harpoon Riverbend Taps and Beer Garden, located in the same building as the brewery it self, offers a full selection of beers straight from the source along with delicious food. The Brewery Store has a wide range of Harpoon apparel and merchandise. |
