Riders choose from three different rides, a 115, 50 or 25 mile ride, all ending at the Harpoon Brewery in historic Windsor, VT. August in Vermont is a beautiful time to travel the 5th smallest state (2nd smallest in population!). You’ll see up close, the countryside is green and lush in the summer time and this challenging ride offers you nothing but a beautiful, scenic tour. Though beautiful, hunger in Vermont is a continuous concern. Many of the Vermont Foodbank’s agencies have seen a 35-40% increase in the number of people accessing their services. Currently, nearly one in every eight Vermonters is at risk of hunger-this equates to 20,400 children statewide. In 2009, the Harpoon Point to Point raised $98,000 to aid hungry Vermonters and is the largest fundraising event for the Vermont Foodbank. Help us continue the Fight Against Hunger, as we work to reach our goal of raising $150,000 in 2010! - 115 Miles (Williston to Windsor): $80 fee + $150 fundraising commitment
- 50 Miles (Bethel to Windsor): $60 fee + $150 fundraising commitment
- 25 Miles (loop from the Harpoon Brewery in Windsor): $40 fee
