While working in the Harpoon Beer Hall, the three brewers became friends over a shared passion for homebrewing. This beer, an India Pale Lager, was originally brewed during one of their many backyard home brew sessions in Cambridge, MA. Fruity esters from a cold fermentation, combined with a generous dose of Chinook and Simcoe hops and the light, biscuit undertones of a specialty Pilsner malt balance a clean, crisp ­finish and a powerful hop aroma.

This hybrid style balances IPA aromatics with a classic Pilsner base. Czech tradition meets American hops.
