An Update On HarpoonFest 2020

April 23, 2020

At Mass. Bay Brewing Company, we’ve spent decades helping friends and family enjoy their time together, with great beer at the heart of it all. That’s included hosting annual festivals that we know our fans have come to look forward to. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to rethink not just how we do business, but how we can still inspire this sense of community within the confines of our current reality. That’s included cancelling or postponing some events to ensure that the safety and best interests of this community remains our top priority.

After much discussion we have made the difficult decision to cancel HarpoonFest for 2020. This decision was not taken lightly – we have never canceled a festival since the brewery was established in 1986. In the interest of public safety, and the health and welfare of our customers and Mass. Bay Brewing Company employee owners, we felt this was our best and safest option.

While it hurts to know we can’t hold HarpoonFest on the rescheduled date at the end of June, we’ll continue to introduce new ways to stay connected and look forward to the day we raise a glass together again, in person.

Cheers,

Dan Kenary

Co-Founder & CEO of the Mass. Bay Brewing Company
