Cheers to the PMC Reimagined 2020 with Harpoon IPA

Since 1998 Harpoon has been a proud supporter of the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), pouring beers for weary cyclists who have ridden up to 192 miles for one single reason: to fight cancer.
2020 will be our 22nd year supporting the PMC – and we have had fellow employee owners ride in 17 of those years, including our Assistant Vice President of Quality Jaime Schier who will be riding in his 18th PMC this year! Not to mention our Assistant Vice President of Marketing Fitz Granger, who has poured Harpoon beer at every single PMC since 1998. Not all heroes wear capes.
This year, with PMC Reimagined 2020, the ride may look a little different, but Harpoon will still be there celebrating the efforts of riders both on and off the bike.
To celebrate the 22nd year as the official beer sponsor of the PMC, we will be stepping up our involvement more than ever. During the entire month of July, for every Harpoon IPA purchased, we will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the PMC!
At a minimum, we have committed to a $15,000 donation to support the life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
To sweeten the pot, we are also giving riders and consumers alike the chance to win a Harpoon-PMC co-branded kegerator!
There are two ways to enter:
- Riders: To enter, post a photo of your post-ride Harpoon IPA between now and August 2nd at 5pm on Instagram and tag @harpoonbrewery and @panmass. The winner will be chosen Sunday, August 2nd!
- Consumers: To enter, text “HarpoonPMC” to 77948. Contest ends on August 3rd.
To be eligible to enter you must be 21+. Please note that the winner must be able to pick up the kegerator from the Harpoon Brewery at 306 Northern Avenue Boston, MA.
New England’s Original IPA, Harpoon IPA is a beloved favorite of PMC riders, and as we all know, that first sip of a cold Harpoon beer at the end of a long day in the saddle (or after a long volunteer shift) is the best tasting beer you’ll have all year long!
