Lettering Love: A Valentine’s Inscribing Workshop

Join us at the Harpoon Brewery Taproom and Beer Garden for a Valentine’s themed caligraphy class using professional calligraphy tools, such as a penholder, nib, and ink.
Your ticket includes all needed supplies and 1 beverage of your choice.
We’ll write/inscribe/letter in your best cursive hand and block letters. Your instructor, Laura, will also demonstrate pointed pen calligraphy strokes found in many Copperplate letterforms and she will email all workshop attendees a complimentary copy of her Copperplate Calligraphy workbook – a bestseller on Etsy. All supplies will be provided.
Instructor Bio:
Laura Di Piazza is a professional calligrapher with over 25 years of experience. She specializes in pointed pen lettering and has taught numerous workshops for Society of Scribes NYC, Dartmouth College, Artistree, AVA Gallery and other regional art centers. Her clients include HBO, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Saks 5th Avenue, and Whitney Museum of American Art.
