Harpoon Helps is the charitable arm of the Harpoon Brewery, where we focus our mission to be a good neighbor and have fun while doing it! Each year, we donate thousands of dollars in swag and beer to New England charities. Additionally, we raise hundreds of thousands of dollars through our marquee fundraising events at our breweries.

Thank you for your interest in Harpoon Helps! We are happy you have considered Harpoon to contribute to your upcoming charitable event. We sponsor charitable events in one of two ways:
We allocate our charitable giving budget on a monthly basis. Due to the volume of requests we receive, we ask that you submit your request according to this schedule (right on desktop, below on mobile).

We are not able to donate to the following types of groups:
Events that are affiliated with colleges or universities, at which underage students will be present (Events that are strictly 21+ are welcome to apply)
Political parties, candidates, or campaigns
Sports teams, athletic programs, or booster clubs that do not have a charitable component
For all requests for donations, please fill out our donation request form below. All requests need to be submitted through this form. If you email us with your donation request, we will direct you to this form. Because of the number of requests we receive, we ask that you do not stop by or call.
Pretty strict. You definitely need to submit your requests based on the timelines below. If we get more requests than anticipated for any given month, we could even end up allocating our budget before these suggested dates. So make sure to stay far ahead of these deadlines and submit your requests as soon as possible. Because once these dates have passed or once our budget is gone (whichever comes first) we will not be able to donate to your event.
If you are requesting donated beer, please understand that there are certain liabilities we face when donating our products:
You will be asked to sign our indemnification/hold harmless agreement.
You will be required to add Harpoon to your insurance certificate as an additional insured.
Harpoon beer donations must be picked up at the Boston brewery by authorized representatives of the charity to which the beer is donated.
*Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are not booking any private events through July 1, 2021. Inquire above about our Virtual Tastings.
We have a small Private Tasting Room here at that brewery, which is available to registered 501c3 organizations for a reduced rental fee. The room fits a maximum of 60 people and can be rented for 90 minutes, from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. If this room will fit your needs, please contact our private event team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our availability to host events in that space is very limited, and we approve requests on a first come, first served basis. We cannot guarantee that we can approve your request or that your desired date will be available, but the earlier you submit your request, the better If your group is larger than 60 or if that evening timeframe doesn’t work for your event, we do have other beautiful spaces available for rent here at the Brewery. Please note that the rental fee for these spaces cannot be reduced for charitable groups—that option only exists for the tasting room.
